Blade Repair Technician

We are looking for blade repair technicians for the 2025 season to join our existing teams for various work scopes. Please read details below before applying.

Bladestar Renewables Ltd have an ever increasing workload and are always on the lookout for new talent.  

Job description – What does the job entail? 

Working as a blade technician for Bladestar Renewables, you will become an integral part of the business.  You will be required to work on sites all over the UK ,and even further afield should the needs arise.  A typical blade season will start around April and run all the way to October depending on weather.  Majority of our work is completed via rope access however there may be requirements to work from MEWP should this be a client requirement.

We are looking for hardworking trustworthy technicians to join our existing teams.  As a company who regularly onboard new starters, this is a great opportunity to accelerate your career development within the repair industry.  Bladestar are regularly deployed on complex structural repairs however we do also conduct general blade maintenance on less severe defects. 

Bladestar are becoming the go to repair parter for large scale OEM’s and Operators within the UK and soon to be expanding globally. 

Our technicians come first. We look after you, you look after the clients! 

Must have requirements –

– IRATA certified 1/2/3

– Blade repair certificate (Siemens B/C/D, LM, Enercon, Vestas, GWO)

– GWO certified

– OGUK/RUK Medical + Chester Step 

– Drivers license

Beneficial requirements –

– Limited AT status on the following platforms: 

  • Senvion – MM 70/82/92/100
  • Siemens – 1.3CS/VS and 2.3CS/VS
  • Vestas – V47/52/66/90
  • Enercon – E40/E44/E48/E53/E70/E82/E92/E101
  • Nordex – N80/N90/N100
